A
powerful permanent magnetic type base holds to any steel or iron surface -
horizontally , vertically or up side down, thus eliminating time spent on
clamping indicator to machine. The base and two sided energized for
attachment on flat surfaces and a 'V' slot facilitates gripping of the stand of
shafts with a diameter range of 20 to 120 mm. The unique clamping which can hold
dial indicator 8 mm or 5 / 16 " stem diameter
