A drill having two helical flutes with a standard morse taper shank. The increased flute length or the cutting length makes it possible for the longer reach for drilling. There are standard two series of drills in longer cutting lengths. Long series drills and extra long series drills. These drills conforms to Indian standards 7822 of 1983. Made of high speed steel and hardened, they are used in metal working. Normally, a reaming operation is done after drilling to straighten the hole and remove the burrs. A decimal point / fractional size larger reamer is used for the purpose. Please view our reamers.
